Life.Death.And Shoes. The story of a pair of beautiful red Italian shoes, the two very different women whose lives they pass through, and the dangerous tie that binds them all together. The filmmakers challenged themselves to make an intriguing and sophisticated dramatic short without benefit of dialog, narration or facial expression. Blood Red (shoes) is a unique film that probes the intersection of life, death and shoes. Experimental, 22 minutes, 16mm film and digital video, 2009. Shot on location in Juneau, Alaska and the Amalfi Coast of Italy.
