Plot Storyline

Lars Erik is "king" among his fisher colleagues until a crises challenges his status, and even his status in love.

On the sunny island of Bornholm, the fishermen made money in the happy 80s. Lars Erik is king among his colleagues and likes to sweeten life for his beloved wife Sonja. But since the fishing quotas also reach Bornholm, the crisis affects the whole island. Lars Erik loses his financial status, and love is put to a serious test.
