Buffalo Bill - Erfinder des Wilden Westens

After the death of his older brother and then his father, William Frederick Cody was only 11 years old when he found himself in charge of his mother, sisters and younger brother. To earn a living for himself and his family, he starts out as a cowboy, then accompanies the great wagon convoys carrying goods across the wild plains of the American West. After battling Indians, scouting for the U.S. Army and hunting buffalo - which earned him the nickname Buffalo Bill - Cody began weaving his legend in 1882 by directing Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, an immense popular spectacle in which he took to the stage alongside Indians and cowboys to revisit the great conquest of the West.
