Storyline
As the lights flicker on a warm August night amid vacant Athens' stillness, a modern bohemian flirts with a woman he has just met. The perfect strangers stroll around the city's quiet night streets, changed by the unforgettable journey.
Content with his indolent lifestyle, Nikos, an unambitious bohemian and aspiring author, patiently waits for a miracle: to love and be loved. At the same time, self-confident fashion stylist Sophia thirsts to fulfil her aspirations. However, she, too, leads an ordinary life. But opposites attract. And as the lights flicker on a warm August night amid vacant Athens' stillness, Nikos crosses paths with destiny. Before long, the romantic knight in not-so-shining armour summons the courage to approach Sophia, the alluring woman he has just met at a phone booth. Over the course of the remaining evening, Nikos will try to blur the line between chatting and flirting, hoping to earn Sophia's trust. After all, the perfect strangers' flowing August rhapsody underlines the necessity of a radical change in their uneventful lives. But as Sophia and Nikos stroll around the city's quiet night streets, talking and laughing, questions emerge. Who knows what first light has in store for the enchanted urban sentimentalists?
