Christmas at the Catnip Cafe

It's the Christmas season. Olivia Pierce, the owner of her own successful marketing company in the Bay area, has, after three years of searching, found her dream condo which she would like to purchase. The problem is that it is just outside of her price range, she needing a slightly bigger down payment than she currently has on hand to be able to handle the mortgage payments. Hoping for a Christmas miracle, she believes it's happened when she learns that her recently deceased Aunt Esther, who she spent much time with as she was growing up, has deeded her her fifty percent share in a business in Felicity in upstate New York, it the Catnip Cafe, a literal cat cafe. Its primary raison d'etre is not only to provide a space for customers and cats to interact, but to find good homes for many of cafe's cats, especially those that are rescues. Olivia had no idea of the business or why Aunt Esther would have have deeded her interest in it to her, but she wants to sell her half interest quickly, there an interested buyer who would use the space for some other purpose. The other fifty percent owner, local vet Ben Kane, has no interest in selling in believing the cafe serves an important function in town, and he himself cannot afford to buy Olivia out. At an impasse, they come to an agreement: Ben will not block the quick sale if Olivia stays to help carry out the annual Christmas events that Aunt Esther routinely handled for the cafe culminating with the Christmas Eve party, his hope being that in doing so she will change her mind about selling by the end of the three weeks. In the process of working together, a romantic attraction forms between the two. The question becomes whether they can bridge the gap between what is happening to them personally against what will happen with the cafe.
