Deplaces climatiques : sans toit ni droit

From 26 million in 2023, climate refugees, now outnumbering refugees from conflicts, could rise to more than 220 million by 2050, according to World Bank estimates. Yet, in 2025, international law does not grant them any protection. On the front line of climate change, countries are trying to fill this legal void. In Bangladesh, where natural disasters have already caused nearly 15 million internal displacements over the past ten years, model villages are being built to accommodate populations displaced by soil erosion and salinization.
