Plot
Storyline
The story follows three poultry sellers on a trip across the bush, attempting to deliver a load of chickens to a market in Niamey. When a third person joins the group, the organization of the trip begins to look even more precarious.
Three friends-Damoure, Lam, and Tallou-as they set out on a journey to buy chickens in the countryside and resell them in the city for profit. Traveling in a battered car, they improvise their way through mechanical breakdowns, muddy roads, and unpredictable encounters with villagers, traders, and officials. As the trip unfolds, the simple business plan turns into a series of comic misadventures. Through playful dialogue and spontaneous situations, the characters reveal their resourcefulness, friendships, and outlook on life. Blending fiction with documentary reality, the film captures the rhythms of daily life, local economies, and the meeting of tradition and modernity, all with humor and a strong sense of collective storytelling.
