Concorde, une epopee

50 years ago, on March 2nd 1969, The Concorde is flying through the air for the very first time. The world's first supersonic plane flight is an international event, broadcast live on television. Thanks to this achievement, France showcases its success to the entire world. The Concorde made people dream, and still does up to this day. But even though it was the result of engineers' hard work, carried by a positive vision for the future and true confidence in their skills, the reality did not meet the dream. It required talent, success, persistence and failures in order to make what was at first a simple delta triangle on a piece of paper into a reality: a supersonic transport airplane. Starting from this first flight, the movie goes back in time to the origins of the Concorde's creation.
