Darlin'

After surviving sadist Chris Cleek's agonising torture in The Woman (2011), the feral matriarch drops off her equally savage protege, a now-adolescent Darlin' Cleek, at a Catholic hospital. Then, she vanishes into the shadows. But history repeats itself. This time, another arrogant male, the corrupt Bishop, picks up where Cleek left off, taking perverse pleasure in making Darlin' his project. In his eyes, he only wants to civilise her. As a result, a subtle transformation begins. However, the Woman is still somewhere out there, longing to reunite with the girl, and she takes no for an answer. After all, who dares to separate a mother from her child?
