At the Spanish castle, preparations for Sinterklaas's arrival are running smoothly when Profpiet's laboratory experiment goes wrong. After an accidental splash, Amerigo - the magical horse of Sinterklaas - suddenly starts talking, full of jokes, complaints about his hay and unfiltered opinions about every single Piet. What at first seems like a harmless side effect quickly becomes uncontrollable when word spreads across Spain. The cunning Jef and his bumbling sidekick Jean see gold in a talking horse and, disguised as a veterinarian, manage to abduct Amerigo from the castle. Without him, there will be no Pakjesavond (the Dutch gift-giving evening on December 5). Testpiet, Coole Piet, Hoge Hoogte Piet and Danspiet, with help from the musical boy Stijn - who has a gift for calming Amerigo through song - set out on a chase across Spanish landscapes. Profpiet works feverishly on an antidote. Three storylines converge as the steamboat's departure looms. The third film in the De Club van Sinterklaas franchise.
