Dick Tracy vs. Crime, Inc.

The thrilling adventures of Dick Tracy are continued in this serial which, because of its fantastic situations, will appeal more strongly to the sensitive imaginations of juveniles than the cold logic of most adults. What would seem to be the chief climax of the entire serial — the destruction of New York — gets under way in the first chapter, leaving one to wonder just what horrible catastrophe has been reserved for the last two or three episodes. Briefly, the plot concerns Dick Tracy's attempts to halt the depredations of a master criminal known as The Ghost, who by means of scientific apparatus, can make himself invisible when he sets out to menace his enemies. Ralph Byrd, Michael Owen, Jan Wiley, John Davidson, Ralph Morgan and Kenneth Harlan have leading roles. As a Saturday matinee booking, "Dick Tracy vs. Crime, Inc." should keep you on good terms with your juvenile patrons.
