Pyramid of the Sun God

1864, during the Mexican Civil War: Captain Verdoja's ruthless quest to get his hands on the Aztec treasure is reaching its climax. Josefa, the scheming mistress of Count Rodriganda, will stop at nothing to get her hands on the gold. The German doctor Dr. Sternau and his companion Andre fall into the hands of the bandits. The bandits use brutal methods to try to force the secret of the Aztec treasure out of the scholar. But Dr. Sternau manages to escape. He frees his friends from the labyrinth of the Pyramid of the Sun God. When Verdoja succeeds in reaching the treasure's hiding place, he is buried along with the gold by a landslide.
