Plot:

A young, discharged soldier is tasked by the king with uncovering the mystery behind the shoes worn out every night by his seven daughters. The soldier falls in love with the youngest princess, solves the mystery, and persuades the other princesses to admit their secret love for the princes of the neighboring kingdom.
