Pavlos and Leon are two unseparated friends who dream of opening a bar after the war is over. Pavlos's parents are arrested by the SS after they search the house thoroughly without being able to find Leon. The two friends embark on a journey through the woods to arrive at Thessaloniki. In the wild, very far from civilization, Pavlos fights against his dark animal side which slowly awakens.
