Dr. T & the Women

Sully to his friends, Sullivan Travis of Dallas TX is surrounded by women, each and every one for which he has a certain reverence, they who all love him back. He and his wife Kate have two grown daughters, and Kate's constantly champagne imbibing divorced sister Peggy has just moved in with them with her three adolescent daughters. His office is comprised entirely of women, and all his patients are women in he being an OBGYN, they at the clinic affectionately referring to him as Dr. T. Many of his patients come to see him under the guise of some made-up malady just to get some alone time with him, his office manager Carolyn who has to control the emotional craziness that often occurs. That craziness in all aspects of his life increases, especially as Kate has retreated into a childlike state and has been institutionalized under the care of Dr. Harper. Kate is diagnosed as suffering from Hestia Syndrome, a malady of the wealthy, it which is caused by being emotionally loved too much. Kate's institutionalization leaves oldest daughter Dee Dee to plan her wedding without her mother, with their youngest Connie seemingly jealous in questioning all Dee Dee's decisions. The calm in this storm of his life is meeting the new golf pro at his golf club, Bree Davis who he believes has added a certain stability into his life at a time he needs someone to love in Kate no longer seemingly being there for him.
