Plot Storyline

The music video for Duran Duran's "Rio", an instant classic of the 1980's from their smash-hit album of same name. The video clip presents the band having lovely and amusing moments on a boat while performing the song at the same time they're on a quest to chase a mysterious beautiful woman.

Duran Duran traveled to the island of Antigua in May 1982 to film the vivid music video for "Rio", which featured iconic images of the band in colorful Antony Price silk suits, singing and playing around on a yacht sailing the Caribbean. Short segments show band members trying to live out their assorted daydreams, only to be teased, tormented, and made fools of by a body-painted vixen.
