Plot
Storyline
The life of an eleven-year-old girl living with her professional pianist mother in Paris is disrupted by the arrival of her mother's much younger saxophone playing lover.
Louise (Sophie Rochut) is 11 years old. She is divided between her mother (Dominique Valadie), a professional jazz pianist who often leaves for concerts, her father (Patrick Chesnais), a very busy business manager whom she only sees every other weekend, her grandmother (Isabelle Sadoyan) absorbed in her games of belote (a French card game), her girlfriend (Sylvie Jacob) who doesn't really understand her. So Louise feels alone, the lot of an only child, as she suggests? Especially when the parents are divorced... A feeling which is accentuated the day she is forced to share her mother with the young and handsome Helmut (Thomas Nock), a saxophonist she met during a tour in Germany.
