Plot Storyline

A low-income, recovering alcoholic hippie mom, and a wealthy, prissy socialite, become unlikely friends after they discover that they both share the same husband, who's also left them bankrupt.

Sylvie and Maggie are strangers living on opposite coasts, leading very similar lives with husbands that travel for work too much and daughters about to leave the nest.
