His results are shocking... The director found previously unpublished materials, conducted a number of interviews, followed the post-war trail of those responsible for the murder... Thanks to this, the viewer discovers with terrifying astonishment the truth that the perpetrators of this cruel crime were not punished for it, and the gendarme who passed the sentence on the Ulma family and carried out their execution, he enjoyed respect and recognition in Germany for years.
