How the Blues Came to Taiwan

Douglas C Rapier, an American Blues musician, came to Taiwan many years ago. He loves the Blues and started to play in clubs all over Taiwan to introduce it in Taiwan. In 2004, he started a yearly international Blues music festival, the Blues Bash. In 2005, he invited Shun Kikuta and they became good friends. Shun Kikuta is a Japanese Blues guitarist who has lived in Chicago for more than 20 years and played with B.B. King, Koko Taylor and Junior Wells. After a performance at the Kennedy Center, USA, Clint Eastwood named him "The Shogun of the Blues."
