How to Stay Free is a documentary that asks the question does our correctional system really rehabilitates its inmates? Told through the eyes of returning citizens, a St Louis prosecutor, a former deputy sheriff and many others, the documentary highlights the financial incentive the prison systems benefit from, what is done before a citizen returns to society and what pitfalls are intentionally awaiting them to trip them up and return back to prison.
