Plot
Storyline
It's heaven at Angel Hill Grammar School until the arrival of the new headmaster, Mr. Frome, who prohibits sixth formers from their beloved music-making. Dingle, a very unconventional music master, helps the students in their time of need.
Mr Dingle is so enthusiastic about the school orchestra that he sometimes lets it get in the way of his other teaching, much to the annoyance of the new headmaster. When it is discovered that Dingle has bought new instruments on hire-purchase and is paying this off by playing piano in a pub he is dismissed, triggering an unexpected response from his pupils.
