Once politically engaged and artistically driven, Jonas now feels disconnected from his ideals, his work, and the contemporary world around him. His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Lila, a young woman full of curiosity, intelligence, and determination. Their relationship-part romantic, part intellectual, part generational exchange-becomes the emotional core of the film.
