Operation Swallow: The Battle for Heavy Water

The factual reconstruction of events of the heavy water sabotage during World War II, with most of the saboteurs portraying themselves, with the outsmarting of the German guards as well as the placing of the bombs needed to change the feared conclusion of a German nuclear weapon. The last two of the four sabotage actions which prevented Germany in getting the heavy water needed to develop an atomic bomb in 1943-44. After an unsuccessful sabotage attempt by British soldiers and later American bombers to stop the heavy water production, young local patriots were trained in England to carry out the sabotage missions without killing a single person.
