King of the Rocket Men

Chapter One DR. VULCAN TRAITOR - A mysterious Dr. Vulcan causes the deaths of Professor Drake (Dale Van Sickle) and Professor Millard (James Craven) at Science Associates, a desert research project. Glenda Thomas (Mae Clarke), a magazine photographer. visits the project and meets Burt Wilslow(House Peters Jr.) and Jeffrey King (Tristram Coffin), young project member. Later, Jeff is attacked by Tony Dirken (Don Haggerty) and a henchman, tools of Dr. Vulcan.Jeff routs the pair and secretly visits a remote cave where Professor Millard, having been miraculously saved, is hiding out. Jeff and Millard have perfected a rocket-propelled flying suit, which Jeff dons and flies, as Rocket Man, to rescue the project;s new radar interceptor which, through foul play, is in the hands of Vulcan's men. Rocket Man lands aboard a fleeing truck and as he battles Dirken and a confederate, the interceptor is accidentally released.Rocket Man flies after it and deflecting its course. It explodes Harmlessly, but the concussion knocks Rocet Man unconscious, sending him flying straight toward a canyon wall and certain death. To Be Continued.
