The Woman Cop

Corinne Levasseur is a determined and principled police inspector. After a professional conflict in Paris, Corinne is transferred to a small industrial town in northern France. There, she investigates the suspicious death of a teenage girl and gradually uncovers a network of child exploitation and prostitution involving powerful local businessmen and respected members of the community. As she pursues the truth, Corinne faces hostility, political pressure, and institutional resistance, including from her own superiors. Ultimately, her integrity and refusal to compromise isolate her within a corrupt system, leading her to resign, disillusioned but morally uncompromised.
