Plot Storyline

In a futuristic society, contestants pit their survival skills against each other in a fight to the death for cash prizes, and the contest is aired live on television.

In France, a television show enjoys great popularity in the not-too-distant future: "The Price of Fear," hosted by star presenter Frederic Mallaire. The show offers a selected candidate the chance to win a large sum of money if they manage to survive a manhunt with live ammunition, which is filmed and broadcast live.
