Murders in Rochefort

Police Captain Emma Thelier, on holiday at her mom's in Charente-Maritime, stumbles upon a murdered man. Familiar with the region, she is entrusted with the investigation with Gendarmerie Captain Adrien Klevec, with whom she spent the night before. The victim is identified as Zorki, and he was shot with silver bullets. There was a similar case years ago involving silver bullets. The murderer of that case, a former mayor, is now living in a nursing home. They learn from his nurse Valentine that his paralysis is caused by a suicide attempt in the jail. Further, Zorki's friend Jean Pradel is also killed with silver bullets. The investigators find out that Valetine is the adopted daughter of the former mayor. They come to realize that years ago Zorki, Jean Pradel, and Paul Lima had an investment plan but were rejected by the mayor at that time. In order to remove the obstacle to their investment, they murdered both the mayor's wife and her lover with silver bullets, framed the mayor, and claimed his motive was jealousy. Now that Valentine knows the truth of her father's case, she takes revenge on them with silver bullets. Now it's Paul Lima's turn to die. The investigators arrive in time to stop her.
