Lonely Child

Feeling a growing distance in his relationship with Mederic, William starts recording video diaries to preserve their shared moments. In an effort to reconnect, he invites Mederic on a camping trip with another gay couple. As Canada's first Dogme 95 film, the story is shot on location, with natural lighting and live sound, the camera is hand-held and all superficial elements are forbidden. Yet somehow, in spite of these harsh restrictions during the filmmaking process, the result is warm and beautiful.
