Plot
Storyline
Thierry Fremaux follows up his 2016 collection of Lumiere Brother films with another set of rare, restored prints.
130 years ago, the Lumiere brothers invented cinema. All of cinema was already there: the variety of shots, the drama, comedy, actors... Through the restoration of over 100 previously unseen Lumiere views, this film offers us the pristine spectacle of our world at the beginning of the last century and an inspiring journey to the origins of a cinema that knows no end.
