Plot Storyline

A tribunal interrogates, tortures and murders "witches" and "heretics" during the Inquisition.

Set in a remote, superstitious village plagued by fear and repression, the film centers on the arrival of a sadistic inquisitor who unleashes a reign of terror under the guise of rooting out heresy. As accusations spiral and innocence means nothing, the line between justice and barbarism dissolves into a blood-soaked frenzy of punishment.
