Melodrama?

Haunted by the ghosts of the past, Yannis, a penniless, financially hard-pressed artist, leaves forever behind the dream-crushing United States of America and returns to his hometown. With the bitter taste of failure in his mouth and confronted with a ghastly existential cul-de-sac, Yannis meanders through the empty, rain-soaked streets of Corfu, Greece, struggling to deal with a gloomy identity crisis, his bedridden mother, and unrewarding romantic relationships.
