Plot Storyline

One year after the death of her mother, Elena, a young French woman of Greek origin, returns to her holiday home on the island of Lesbos.

July 2015. Not knowing what to expect, rebellious Greek-French hospitality school student Elena sets foot in Lesbos, Greece, with her classmates, Sekou and Nassim. One short year after her mother's death, Elena reunites with her biologist stepfather Manos, ready to drop a bombshell: Elena wants to settle her affairs and sell the ancestral house she has inherited from her late mum. However, as the happy holidaymakers enjoy their vacations on the sun-kissed island, things will take an unexpected turn after encountering Elyas, a young undocumented immigrant from Syria.
