Plot
Storyline
A romantic exploration on what makes relationships work. Three couples at different stages of their relationships come to appreciate that any marriage requires equal doses of delusion, forgiveness, laughter, and sexual chemistry.
Iris (Balaban) is a young mother married to rock-steady doctor Geoff (Allen) and busy caring for her dying film critic father (Welsh) - she's trying to save the soon-to-be-torn-down Paradise Cinema in his honor. Tonight, she will host a screening of the 1960 classic drama Breathless at the Paradise, where she'll run into her mercurial ex (Hawco) and his fiancee (Ferreira) and the two ex-lovers will spend the evening reliving the past and plotting a future together.
