Murder in Le Mans

Days before the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the body of Palestro team driver Mathieu Nerval is found on the track. Captain Sabrina Nedjard is assigned to the case, joined by LAPD Ryan Martin under an exchange program. Soon after, Palestro team mechanic Dino Lavezzi is also found dead. It is revealed that Lavezzi felt betrayed when team owner Antoine Palestro sided with Nerval over him in their quarrel. He exposed a past cover-up to Thierry Morin: Nerval was responsible for the hit-and-run that killed Morin's in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Peronnie. Seeking revenge, Morin killed Nerval. However, the real hit-and-run driver was Antoine's son Thomas Palestro. Antoine, who loved Nerval for his racing potential over his son, blamed Lavezzi for wrongly accusing Nerval and for directing Morin toward him, and killed him in a rage. Both Morin and Antoine are arrested.
