Murder in Orleans

A large crowd joins the historic center of the city where a long procession of extras in costume of the fifteenth century scrolls to the Cathedral Sainte Croix. The last day of Johannine celebrations dedicated to Joan of Arc, historical and emblematic figure of the city. Suddenly a girl in armor appears, proudly mounted on her horse and framed by two pages. The crowd cheers. It's her . Joan of Arc, the virgin. The one who liberated Orleans from the seat of the English. But suddenly the girl, Clotilde Duvivier, freezes. She has just been hit in the heart by an arrow and collapses to the ground. After a short silence of astonishment, the spectators panic and try desperately to flee.
