Plot Storyline

The story of Bill Wilson and the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The story of a failed stockbroker and his trial and tribulations in conquering his alcoholic addiction. It is perhaps not surprising that whilst in hospital and under the influence of potent psychoactive substances and morphaned, he undergoes a spiritual awakening which spurs him on to develop the twelve step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous with Dr Bob Smith Bill also struggles with a sexual addiction and is known in AA circles as the original 13th Stepper.
