Nightmare on the 13th Floor

Michele Greene ("L.A. Law") is a writer for a travel magazine on assignment at an old Victorian landmark, the Wessex Hotel. While riding the service elevator, she discovers an unmarked 13th floor where she witnesses a murder and then loses consciousness. When she awakens, she is assured by the hotel doctor (James Brolin) that she hallucinated the murder and that there is no 13th floor. But the hotel's floor plans do reveal a 13th floor, sealed off after a bloody massacre some 80 years ago. When several guests mysteriously disappear, it becomes apparent that a deadly evil exists within the hotel, and unless this terror is stopped, history will repeat itself.
