Plot Storyline

Inspired by the true 2004 Northern Bank robbery, two feuding bank employees are forced to execute Ireland's biggest heist after criminals kidnap their families and threaten to kill them.

Days before Christmas, an armed gang invades their homes and takes Richard's wife and Barry's mother hostage. Instead of breaking into the bank themselves, the criminals issue a chilling ultimatum: the two employees must work together to rob their own employer and empty the bank's vaults of £26.5 million. If either man fails or steps out of line, the other's family member will be killed.
