Jerry Landon is home on vacation from college, and as such is treating this evening as a good time to let go by imbibing to an extreme. Keith Stevens, more conservative, likes to drink but will only have a few beer. Dan Parker won't be drinking at all this evening as he is driving the family's one and only car, they having a rule no drinking while driving that car. By the end of the evening, Edie, Jerry's date, has a conundrum about with who to get a drive home.
