Onkel Joakims hemmelighed

The story is about the people in - and around - the cosy cafe Trinidad in the Copenhagen canal street, Nyhavn ("New Harbour"). The owner, Joakim Nielsen, runs the place as a second home for the regular customers. The gangster Mr. Schwartz is trying to take over the cafe, to turn it into a gambling club, but Joakim Nielsen won't sell. When Joakim Nielsen dies, he leaves the cafe to his niece on the condition that she herself takes leadership of the cafe. But Schwartz is still plotting to take over using blackmail and other gangster methods. And now all the regular customers must join forces in order to save cafe Trinidad.
