She consults Dr. Fish about migraine attacks and ends up being admitted to the hospital where he practices. There she shares a room with Eleonore, a kind of autistic witch. Claire is fascinated by Eleonore's occult powers.
Claire Weygand, a thirty-year-old young woman who is about to defend her anthropology thesis, unfortunately not only feels bad but even worse and worse with each passing day.
