Storyline
After five months of incessant and senseless shelling, a group of children living in Aleppo start painting the walls of their city. It is an act of protest as well as resistance: a small act that dares to dream of bringing back life in a place that has been humiliated by bombs and bullets, while international powers were watching without doing anything to save lives.
After months of shelling from all sides, the city of Aleppo lies in what looks like ruins. However, the closer one looks, the more obvious the hope and humanity within the people of Aleppo becomes. This short, no-dialogue film shows snippets of life in Aleppo, from cooking in a courtyard strewn with rubble, to a worn wall being painted by school children. The actions in this film are allowed to speak where words are not present to convey the feelings, struggles, and courage in Aleppo.
