Pretty Hurts follows the life of Jasmine, a young woman who many consider to be a flawless beauty. Jasmine is struggling with deep-seated issues that stem from a dysfunctional upbringing and perpetual cycles of unparalleled abuse. Because of these traumatic events, she associates beauty with pain, and after years of fighting her internal demons, insecurities, and declining self-worth, she finds herself with nowhere to turn.
