Proof of the Devil

In New Orleans, there is a crime spree with twenty-two murders and the serial killer is the eighteen-year-old Jesse Winters, a.k.a. "The Butcher". When the police capture him, he goes to court, is found guilty and is executed by lethal injection. His mother Kate Winters claims that Jesse was possessed by a demon when he killed his father and started his murders, but no one listens to her. Therefore, she hires the documentarian Eddie Daniels and his crew to prove that Jesse was possessed by a demon. She also hires the skeptical psychiatrist Benjamin Hatcher and his nurse Sarah to prove that she is sane. Kate summons the demon that possessed Jesse at the beginning of her journey to prove the innocence of her son. Will she succeed?
