Plot Storyline

When the ancient privileges of Chodove were threatened by Wolf Maximilian Laminger von Albenreuth, "Lomikar", Jan Sladky Kozina defended their rights. He was arrested and executed in 1695.

Jan Sladky Kozina was the leader of Chodove at the end of the 17th century. With his wife and 6 sons, they lived as a quiet, god-fearing family. When the ancient privileges of Chodove were threatened, he defended their rights. This culminated in disagreement with the local magnate Wolf Maximilian Laminger von Albenreuth, "Lomikar". Kozina was judged responsible for the peasant rebellion, arrested and executed in Pilsen on the 28th November 1695.
