In this brand new series, six dogs are selected from rescue centres around the UK and paired with six people with disabilities. Aided by two of the country's top dog trainers, the aim is to transform these canine companions into brilliant disability helper dogs. But with just 12 weeks to bond, live and train together, can their lives be changed forever? Specialist dog trainers Jo-Rosie Haffenden and Nando Brown have been scouring the kennels of the Dogs Trust and Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, assessing over 100 different waifs and strays for their suitability.
