Celeste (Julie Benz), an attractive 40-something waitress, serves 70-year-old widower Steven Beard (Eli Gabay) his nightly cocktail at his local country club in Austin, Texas. In 1995, Steve marries Celeste and provides the divorced mother of two teenage daughters with a large house, fancy cars, expensive designer clothing, and mountains of dazzling jewelry, but nothing is enough for her. When she is admitted to a mental-health facility for depression, she meets and seduces fellow female patient Tracey Tarlton (Justine Warrington) and succeeds in convincing her that the only way they could be together would be to murder her husband Steven. Celeste knows that she can inherit millions of dollars upon Steven's death. Betrayal knows no bounds until Tracey finally reveals the truth. Loosely based on a true story.
