Sigur Ros: Varud

For Icelandic band Sigur Ros' new album, 'Valtari,' they commissioned 14 different video artists to create individual, original works for music videos without any input whatsoever from the band. The result is the 'Valtari Mystery Film Experiment.' This particular video, for the song 'Varud,' is one of the official videos for that series. Directed by Bjorn Floki, Varud focuses on a lone, young girl in a post-apocalyptic urban environment. She fashions a helmet out of found objects allowing her to imagine herself in a seemingly surreal and spiritual alien wilderness.
