Exceptionally vivid portrait of the family of Vaclav Vojir, a respected notary and small-town authority, and his self-sacrificing spouse Vera. While husband and wife are quite dissimilar from one another, in their disposition they share not only a serene, pure form of love alongside tenderness and affability, but also mutual respect and admirable ethical principles.
